Guidelines for Authors

 

Types of Presentations

 

Paper (20 mins)

A paper is most effectively presented orally as an address to the audience with reference to notes or text, rather than as a rapid reading of a prepared text.

 

Poster Presentation  (20 mins)

Posters should be no more than 24” (61 cm) x 48” (122 cm). Each presenter is entitled to one poster. Poster presenters must be present to explain and discuss their posters at the time allocated in the programme. Presenters are responsible for mounting and removing their posters.

 


NOTE

  • All presentations should be made in English.
  • The paper, workshop, or colloquium offered for this conference must not have been presented at any other conference or seminar.
  • Papers, workshops, or panels accepted for this conference must not have their conceptual content altered substantially after acceptance.
  • Paper presenters are responsible for providing copies of each handout they will use.
  • All correspondence will be sent to the lead Presenter who shall be responsible for relaying information to Co-presenters.
  • All Presenters and Co-presenters must register for the conference.
  • Every room is equipped with an LCD projector and a notebook computer for the presentation.

 


Submission of Full Paper

 Authors are requested to submit the abstract through e-mail attachment in Microsoft Word format.

• The papers should be original, unpublished and not more than 20-25 double-spaced pages with a font size of 12 pt. using the Times New Roman font or any equivalent.

 
Content

The following information is required and is to be in the following order:

i. Title of paper – boldfaced and centred in upper/lower case;

ii. Name(s) of the author(s);

iii. Affiliation(s) of the author(s);

iv. Contact email address, correspondence address and telephone number.

v. E-mail address(es) of the author(s);

vi. Abstract of the paper (maximum of 200 words)

vii. Biodata .Approximately 50 words in length.(download)

viii. References should be placed in an alphabetical order at the end of the text

 

All sections and sub-sections should be easily identifiable using boldface and upper/lower case where necessary.
