Biosystem Engineering is a discipline based on engineering principles that integrates applied biological, environmental and agricultural sciences for the sustainable production of food, biomaterials and the efficient yet competent utilization of natural resources. The course offered by UniMAP will emphasize on biological process, automation on macro-scale, electronic instrumentations, ICT and environmental control. Upon successful completion of the degree in Biosystem Engineering, graduate will be able to apply engineering skills to solve problems involving biological and natural resources using modern engineering tools and dynamic systems approach.

Thus, graduates could undertake employment in a number of sectors some of which include, government, food and industrial crops schemes, rural development agencies, governmental regulatory agencies, research and development bodies, food companies, technical and project manager of new technologies, entrepreneurs in agriculture and food production agencies.

Currently, our first batch is in their second year of study.
