School of Computer and Communication Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) is pleased to announce the First International Conference on Electronic Design 2008, ICED2008 (Theme: Embedded System Applications), from 1-3, December 2008 at Park Royal Hotel, Penang, Malaysia. The conference is a sequel to the previous National Conference on Electronic Design (NCED-05) in 2005.

The aim of ICED2008 is preponderantly oriented towards discussing the development and cutting-edge technology related to embedded applications and design. The conference provides an opportunity for researchers, professionals, academicians and industrialists to share their knowledge and research ideas in the latest embedded technologies. It will include keynote addresses, oral presentation of contributed papers, tutorial sessions and exhibition of products and devices from related industries.
