The program duration is four years which equivalent to eight semesters. About 60% of the contact time is allocated for hands on sessions, which cover laboratory works, computer-aided learning, workshops, industrial attachment, design projects and technical problem solving. The remaining 40% contact time, is dedicated for theory-based learning.

Buildling Engineering is a multidisciplinary engineering field that applies a holistic engineering approach towards planning, design, construction, operation, renovation and maintenance of buildings, and also the impacts on surrounding environment. The discipline requires pertinent knowledge integrated from traditional well-established disciplines;

Opportunities exist in our school to undertake supervised research at either doctoral or masters level in environmental engineering studies. A full-time research degree entails supervised research, either on an individual basis or as part of a research team. The aim of a research degree is to provide a thorough training in a particular discipline area through original investigation and experiment. The precise focus of research is agreed between you and your supervisor.
