Opportunities exist in our school to undertake supervised research at either doctoral or masters level in environmental engineering studies. A full-time research degree entails supervised research, either on an individual basis or as part of a research team. The aim of a research degree is to provide a thorough training in a particular discipline area through original investigation and experiment. The precise focus of research is agreed between you and your supervisor.
Candidates for research degrees in certain subject areas may commence study at any time of the year. Doctoral or masters level students at the end will submit a thesis for examination. The University also offers part-time study opportunities.
